When a house caught on fire in Rochester, New York, the Lollypop Farm shelter was told nearly 70 cats lived in that house. After firefighters arrived and put out the fire, they found 97 cats.

Nearly all the cats suffered smoke inhalation so shelter officials worked to save as many cats as they could. If you happen to live in Rochester and would like a cat, feel free to adopt one or more of these rescued kitties.
