With everyone relying on virtual videoconferencing tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams to get work done remotely, one problem has occurred. Often times people’s pets wander into the virtual meeting, interrupting the entire process.

That’s why New Hampshire lawmakers have now been told to keep their pets out of their virtual meetings. While the present of a pet can lighten the meeting’s mood, some lawmakers consider it unprofessional and too distracting. Then again, most cats would agree that anyone who thinks like that is probably just jealous that cats are more appealing and more intelligent than they are.
