Andel Kindell bought a $180 GPS device and attached it to his cat Alex’s collar after his pet had disappeared for a few days. When Alex returned home, his paw was injured and the GPS tracker was missing.

Using his smartphone, Andel tracked the GPS and saw it crossing a road but couldn’t see anyone carrying it. Eventually when he traced the GPS tracker through drainage pipes, he realized that a rat had gotten the GPS tracker somehow. How a rat stole a cat’s GPS tracker remains am users, but at least the cat is safe and that’s all that matters.
