As people get older, they offer suffer a mental decline known as dementia. Unfortunately as cats get older, they too can suffer from dementia. If you have an older cat, be on the look out for signs your cat may have dementia.

One sign is if your cat seems confused, even in a familiar setting such as its home. Confused cats often meow or cry. A second sign might be your cat soiling the area anywhere but inside of a litter box. Also look for behavior changes in your cat’s sleep patterns or daily activities.
