The last cat to roam around the White House was Socks the cat, who joined the White House when Bill Clinton was in office. Since then, no cat has been a resident of the White House until now.
Jill Biden has said that she would like to get a cat to go along with the couple’s two dogs. With one of Biden’s dogs constantly biting people and even defecating on the floor, perhaps it’s time for a cat to put things in order and take charge of the White House. At least no matter what a cat does, it will be cute and provide plenty of pictures for the Internet.
