With the coming summer days ahead of us, people want to get out. Not surprisingly, many cats also want to get outside, but be careful. Just as you need to take precautions against sunburn, you may need to worry about your cat getting sunburned as well.

Generally, cats with white hair or hairless cats are most at risk of getting a sunburn. Still, you want to keep your cat away from the sun, even near windows since indoor cats can get sunburned too. For outdoor cats, keep your cat indoors during the hours of 10am to 4pm.
