In India, there’s a danger of poisonous cobra snakes in the wild. When one cobra tried to enter a family’s home, the family cat stood guard for 30 minutes to keep the cobra out of the house.
This gave the family time to call the Snake Helpline, which sent a team out to retrieve the poisonous snake. Thanks to the cat’s actions, the cobra could not hurt anyone in the house.
