As much as you may keep your cat clean, there’s always a chance that it can get lice. Lice attach their eggs to the base of the hairs on a cat and then feed by sucking blood or munching on dead skin on the cat.
Unfortunately, killing lice isn’t easy. You can try frequent bathing but you must deal with lice as they hatch because killing their eggs is difficult. That means keeping your cat clean as often as possible for two months or more until you can wash off all the lice your cat may have.
