In case you missed it, August 8 has been declared International Cat Day. How that day is any different than any other day is a mystery since every day cats demand to be treated like royalty and then manage to get people to do their bidding.
Notable personalities throughout history have extolled the virtues of a cat. Charles Dickens said, “What greater gift than the love of a cat?” Colette said, “Time spent with a cat is never wasted.”
