in the old days, couples would get married and immediately start a family because that’s what everyone assumed they would do whether they wanted children or not. Nowadays, many couples are choosing not to raise children. Instead, they’re turning their parenting skills towards raising and caring for their cat.
Fertility rates are dropping and people now have greater choices in choosing their lifestyle. For many people, that means limiting children and pushing cats around in strollers instead of babies.
Perhaps as the world continues to change, people will find more ways to care for cats as babies instead of children. Because at least cats already think they know everything anyways, just like many teenagers.
