Normally when cats hiss in anger, it’s a warning to get far away before the claws shred your skin into pieces. So when David Scott from South Africa heard the angry meow of his cat, he decided to use that as inspiration to make music.

Soon David recruited a Brazilian violinist, Amanda Barbalho, Kryštov Hron from the Czech Republic with a ukulele, along with a Russian, an American, a German, and a Ukrainian. Together, these musicians converted an angry cat’s hiss into music, which proves your cat can be an endless source of inspiration for creativity no matter what its mood might be.
