The Japanese love cats and cats love humans who will do what they want. That’s why the Internet and the cats that rule the Internet are enthusiastic over Tadayoshi Motomi who has been making cat beds out of rice straw for the past 25 years.
Tadayoshi says he started making cat beds as a hobby but once they proved popular, he started selling them. To protect the cat’s health, Tadayoshi uses rice straw that has been exposed to as few pesticides as possible. Now he makes around 20 cat beds a year, proving there’s always a profit to be had when dealing with cats.
