During the holiday seasons and during pandemic lockdowns, people often decide to get a pet such as a cat. However, getting a cat involves more than just bringing it home like a piece of furniture. You need to prepare your cat to live in your home.
One technique is to make sure your cat knows you (and other humans) provide it with food. That way it will associate people with something it wants. Take your time getting to know your cat and let your cat get to know you. Cats are curious and will eventually pick out its favorite human, who will then be forced into a life of indentured servitude for the rest of the cat’s life.
