Rachael Lawrence, of Braintree in Essex, lost her two-year old cat, Barnaby, eight months ago. When she took her other cat to the veterinarian, she called to see how the cat was doing. That’s when she “recognised” a meow in the background.
The veterinarian said the meowing cat was a stray brought in last week so Rachael rushed to the vet and discovered Barnaby. Despite losing some fur and some weight, Barnaby is back home where he belongs.
