Zoomies occur when a cat suddenly becomes hyperactive for no apparent reason known to the human race. Cats will often charge around the house and knock things off before drifting back to sleep again for the next 25 hours.

Since the roomies often occur at night, causing noise and waking people up, you can limit the zooms by getting your cat plenty of toys. Interactive toys can be best so your cat can hunt and burn up its energy attacking a toy instead of running around the house like a nut. Then again, aggravating humans is what makes cats cute anyway.
