If you happen to live or travel through Vermont, look for a fisher cat. Curiously, a fisher cat doesn’t typically eat fish, nor is it related to cats. It is part of the weasel family and is most closely related to a mink or a marten.
Still, fisher cats are furry and appealing. If you like ordinary house cats, you might also like fisher cats, just as long as they stay in the wilderness where they belong.
