After losing several cats to car accidents, Lorraine and Adrian Marshall, from Blackpool, built a ‘catio’ at the front of their home so their cats could go outside and still stay safe. Unfortunately, city officials say the catio may have to come down.
The couple is working with the city to determine if the catio can stay or if it can be moved to an alternate location. Whatever the case, a catio is a safe way to let your cat experience the outdoors while keeping it safely confined from cars, dogs, and people. Let’s hope the couple can keep their catio and their cats happy after all.
