Many cats like canned food because of the moisture content and texture. Since cats also like catching and eating mice, a California company decided to combine the two and make cat food out of mouse meat.
The cat food, called Mouser, is for sale in pet and feed shops in California, Arizona and Nevada. By next month, Mouser should expand to Oregon, Washington and Idaho. If your cat turns up its nose to ordinary canned cat food, perhaps mouse meat might appeal to its taste buds instead.
