Kyiv, Ukraine has been repeatedly bombed and shelled during Russia’s invasion. Amazingly, after one apartment building had been severely damaged, people spotted a cat walking along the ruins.
That started a social media campaign to rescue the cat. Fortunately with the aid of a fire track ladder, someone was able to retrieve the cat and bring it to a vet to get cared for and fed. That shows that even in the middle of a war, people will still love cats.
