If you examine the faces of some cats, it looks like tears are streaming out of their eyes at a constant rate. This leads many people to believe their cat may be crying, yet cat tears don’t mean the same thing when people cry.

Cats typically cry for physical reasons such as eye infections or the flu. So if you see your cat crying, it’s likely not an emotional problem but a physical one that your vet should check out. Typically the only reason cats might cry is when they can’t bend you to their will and order you around.
