Like many cat owners, Willem Delventhal felt guilty leaving his cat at home alone while he went to work. So Delventhal decided to create a video game specially for his cat, Fez. That way Fez would play games and Delventhal wouldn’t feel bad leaving his cat alone each day.

These simple video games initially failed to keep his cat’s attention but after multiple changes, he found the magic combination that would keep cats engaged in watching a video game on a tablet. One notable result of his research was that kittens were more likely to play video games than older cats, which proves video games are always the domain of the young.
