With Prime Minister Boris Johnson resigning recently, people have noticed that Larry the Cat is still the official mouser of 10 Downing Street. Amazingly, Larry the cat has been around through three Prime Ministers, causing people to joke that Larry the cat is the true power behind the British government.
After seeing the mess that human leaders make of their countries time and time again, it’s about time we nominate a cat to run a country. At least a cat is adorable no matter what they do, which means they’ll always have the edge over any human leader we elect.
