Cats like taking naps and big cats like lions are no exception. However when a 12-year-old endangered Asiatic lion, named Bhanu, started suffering recurrent ear infections at the London Zoo, officials had to find out what the problem was so they could deal with it.
To do this, they needed to put Bhanu inside a CAT scan machine. Naturally they made sure Bhanu was asleep at the time, but with the help of the CAT scanner, they were able to diagnose his ear infection and provide treatment for it.
