During the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses had to shut down for months at a time. When that business happens to be a cat cafe that relies on people to show up and pay to spend time with cats, that creates an additional problem.

Cats still need to be fed, cleaned, and cared for. Owner Tony Wang cared for the cats despite the lack of customers. Fortunately, his cat cafe has survived and is open again for people to enjoy the company of cats again. So if you plan to visit San Diego (such as during Comic-Con), visit the Cat Cafe and spend some time with a cat or two.
