Disneyland, like many places filled with food, has a problem with rodents. Disney officials originally tried using poison and standard rodent control mechanisms such as traps, but found these weren’t as efficient as simply inviting stray cats into the park to stay wherever they like.

These Disneyland cats even have their own social media account (run by humans) and attract followers who visit Disneyland for the rides and a chance to see one of Disneyland’s cats. These cats keep down the rodent population while also bringing squeals of delight from people whenever they spot one.
