Dogs are picky. They love being petted anywhere. Cats, on the other hand, can be more temperamental so you better make sure you pet them in the right spots. Fortunately, finding those spots are fairly predictable among all cats.
Start with behind the ears or under the chin. Then try the neck and shoulders, followed by right above the tail. The better you learn to massage your cat, the happier your cat will be regardless of how happy you might be spending all your time petting your cat.
