Ancient people living in Nazca, Peru used to dig up the dirt to expose the white ground underneath. Then they created large images that can only be appreciated from the sky. Curiously, one of the images they carved in the ground was a cat.
Most likely carving a cat in the ground took a long time, but it’s surprising that these people didn’t spend all their time sharing pictures of cat images like people do today with the Internet. This just goes to show how cat images have gone viral long before computers even existed.
