When most people lose a cat, they put posters around and hope that someone will find and return it. When the Dallas Zoo found their leopard had gone missing, they immediately started searching the neighborhood.
Fortunately, the leopard was found nearby, but that didn’t stop people from suggesting the zoo open a can so the leopard would hear the sound and come running. Others suggested catnip or simple calling, “Here kitty, kitty, kitty.”
Hopefully the zoo will take care to keep their cats inside where they belong. That advice goes to all cat owners as well.
