People all over the world love cats, but the Japanese seem especially fond of their feline friends. Now a Japanese psychologist has found the reason. Japanese people love cats because they’re tsundere.

Tsundere is a combination of two terms: tsuntsun, which means thornily standoffish, and deredere, which means intensely sweet and affectionate. Apparently the Japanese love cats because cats alternate between loving you and wanting nothing to do with you. So now you know the way to win the heart of anyone from Japan. Just act like a cat.
