In cold climates, outdoor cats need shelter. That’s why Lindsay Bailey decided she had to do something. After her own cat, Tiger, disappeared over a year ago, Lindsay decided to help outdoor cats by taking used ice coolers, filling them with straw, and cutting a hole in their side to make cat shelters.
Lindsay now shelters multiple cats and feeds stray cats around her neighborhood. Hopefully more people will follow Lindsay’s lead and help shelter outdoor cats and feed them to make sure they’re cared for. The happier cats are, the happier people can be.
