When cats grow up in the wild, they’re often difficult to domesticate. Nala was one such cat who was skittish around people and would hide. What brought Nala out of her shell was the introduction of a kitten for her to care for.

With a kitten to mother, Nala suddenly became more outgoing as she followed the kitten everywhere it went. Since the kitten arrived, Nala has settled into her new home. So if you have adopted a skittish cat, perhaps one solution is to get more cats. Keeping a skittish cat company with another cat just might be the solution to getting feral cats domesticated.
