Getting a cat to do anything you want is often an exercise in frustration since a cat wants you to do what it wants. Perhaps the toughest task any cat owner can face is trying to put a costume on a cat. Amazingly, one woman’s cat found that her cat actually enjoys wearing a bunny costume.
Her cat will drag the costume to her so she can put it on the cat. While most cats won’t beg to wear a costume, you can get a cat used to a costume by putting on pieces of it at a time and seeing whether the cat likes it or not. Just remember that you serve the will of the cat, not the other way around. Once you understand this, you and your cat will be able to find common ground.
