Just like people, cats can get depressed. While people can often deal with their depression by taking action to change their life, cats remain dependent on their owners to change their lives. So when a Maine Coon cat got depressed, it’s owner discovered a solution: getting it a kitten.
Surprisingly, the Maine Coon cat brightened up at a chance to interact and care for a kitten. Of course, now if this kitten gets depressed, the answer may be getting it a kitten to care for as well, which creates an endless cycle of kittens that may be the ultimate plan of cats.
