Cats often defy stereotypes. While most people think that cats will attack mice, one woman filmed her cat lazily lounging on the carpet while a mouse crawls just inches away from her face. Despite this proximity, the cat simply ignores the mouse and walks away.
However, a follow-up video shows that the cat did catch and kill the mouse later. Apparently the cat was just taking a break and letting the mouse live a little longer before pouncing. While humans often work themselves long hours to death, it’s nice to know that cats have the good sense to relax once in a while.
