Cats love string, cords, and anything stringy that moves and looks like a good target to chew and attack. That’s why owner’s cat has gone viral for being obsessed with a piece of hemp rope. The owner takes out a hemp rope and lets the cat play with it for a limited amount of time before putting the hemp rope away again until the next day.
The reason the owner doesn’t let the cat play with the rope unsupervised is to prevent the possibility of the cat getting itself tangled in the rope and hurting itself. By supervising the cat’s play with the rope, the owner can rest assured the cat is safe and having fun.
