Like many addicted to food, she can’t stop eating prawns and is addicted to treats. She keeps getting caught trying to swipe fish from the tank and stealing food from the dog. Puff the cat’s dietary habits have become so bad that her owner, Marie Clair, decided to enroll Puff in the PDSA’s Pet Fit Club programme – a fat camp for cats.
‘She is a long-haired cat, and they can be slightly larger in frame than regular cats – but when I saw her I was flabbergasted. I wasn’t sure we’d even get her in the cat carrier! In the end she was too big, and we had to use a dog cage to bring her home.’
