A Texas woman, Julia Poff, has a plan to send explosives in the mail to then President Barack Obama, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, and the commissioner of the Social Security Administration. That plan was partially foiled by her cat.
Officials traced the packages to Julia but what sealed her fate was that they found cat hair in the box that exactly matched the hair on her own cat. So Julia’s cat helped provide solid evidence to convict her.
