Asimov was named after famous science fiction author Isaac Asimov. For years, Asimov lived a happy life but when Asimov’s owner lost her housing, Asimov wound up at an animal shelter as a senior cat.
Since senior cats get adopted less often than younger cats, Asimov spent three years in the shelter until someone finally adopted her. Now Asimov is a happy senior cat with a new forever home. The next time you want to adopt a cat, consider an older cat that can give you just as much joy.
