Most cat owners feed their cat dry food, often in conjunction with canned food. However, since dry food can be left out in the open nd doesn’t go bad, most cat owners provide their pets with a bowl of dry food for times when no one can feed the cat canned food.
Just remember that dry cat food needs to provide all the nutrition your cat needs, whether it eats canned food or not. Since cats can be finicky eaters, you may need to experiment with different brands of dry cat food until you find one that your cat enjoys.
Then again, you may need to cater to your cat’s every need all the time anyway since that’s what cats want. If being owned by a cat seems weird, just remember who really runs your household. (Hint: It’s not you.)
