If you own a cat in South America, you may want to keep your cat indoors. A man recently found a boa constrictor squeezing a cat to death and managed to pry open the boa constrictor’s jaws to keep it from swallowing the cat. When the snake relaxed its grip, the cat managed to slip out and escape.
Even if you’re not in South America, it’s probably best to keep your cat indoors for its own protection. Between threats such as dogs, wild animals, and cars, not to mention malicious individuals, your cat will live a safer life indoors. Just make sure you don’t have a boa constrictor for a pet though.
