Although humans like to delude themselves otherwise, most of the time cats choose them by showing up at their door one day and refusing to ever leave again. However, in rare cases, humans can choose a cat for themselves and actually exercise a little bit of free will right before the cat takes over the household and starts ordering them around.

If you’re looking to get a cat, you actually have as many choices as you would if buying a car. Should you get a short-haired cat or a long-haired cat? Do you want a kitten or an adult? Of course, it doesn’t matter what type of cat you get eventually since it will rule you rife, but like voting in national elections, you can at least choose who you want to exploit you for the next ten years or so.
