If you look at old magazines from the 60’s, you may see pictures of fashion model, Celia Hammond. Although she originally made her living as a fashion model, her latest activities involves catching and protecting cats.
Celia Hammond started her Celia Hammond Animal Trust to rescue cats and find them a good home. During the 2012 Olympic preparations in London, Celia spent much of her time rounding up feral cats to save them and get them off the streets from the Olympic construction sites. If you happen to be in England, consider adopting a cat from Celia Hammond’s shelter.
