If you have both a cat and a dog, your dog may want to chase the cat. In most cases, the dog doesn’t want to hurt the cat, but enjoys the thrill of the chase, which the cat probably won’t appreciate at all. One of the simplest solutions is to give your cat plenty of vertical climbing and jumping spaces to get away from the dog. An even simpler solution is to keep your cat and dog physically separated when you’re not around.
