In the dog world, people are falling in love with tinier and tinier dogs that can fit in a purse. In the cat world, there are also small kitties. Recently the Guinness World Records  officially crowned Cye, a three-year-old male munchkin cat, as the shortest cat in the world at a petite 13.6 cm (or 5.35 inches).

Because of Cye’s small legs, his owner keeps him inside. Despite Cye’s small stature, Cye still behaves like a normal cat. While Cye may never become an Internet sensation like Grumpy Cat, Cye at least holds an official world’s record at least until another cat breaks it later.
