Every cat owner knows that cats love to roam. That’s why cat owners tend to spend a fortune collectively on cat condos of every size and shape. Unfortunately for the longest time, big cats in zoos didn’t get the same physical and mental stimulation of roaming around when trapped in an exhibit.

That’s why the Philadelphia Zoo created an open air cat walk for their tigers. The enclosed cat walk lets tigers walk over visitors heads and see other parts of the zoo that they couldn’t see before. Such mental stimulation can be just as important as the physical stimulation of strolling along a cat walk.
