Nebraska coach Bo Pelini brought his cat to a football game and the above picture shows the cat looking relatively bored by the activity all around. Perhaps the cat prefers another team instead or just finds American football a bit strange compared to football as it’s played around the rest of the world.
Why a coach would bring his cat to a game is a question that nobody seems to have answered, but the cat seems to enjoy having the best seats in the stadium without paying for it, of course. If the cat brings good luck to the team, perhaps other coaches might bring cats to their games too.
Maybe if the Detroit Lions or the Chicago Cubs brought cats to their games, they might win a championship one day. Given the lack of cats on both of these teams, bringing a cat could be the least of their problems.
