By now, almost everyone has heard of Tara the cat, who attacked a dog that had grabbed a four-year old boy by the leg. While Tara saved the little boy, other cats have done equally courageous activities such as Jack, a clawless orange cat that chased a black bear up a tree.
Jack held the black bear up the tree for 15 minutes. When the bear tried to escape, jack sent it scurrying up another tree. Only until Jack’s owner brought Jack back inside did the black bear finally escape in the forest. Jack’s owner said that Jack doesn’t like anyone in his territory.
