Everyone knows that cats treat humans like subservient beings who are unworthy of existing in the cat’s presence. However, a 31-year-old woman found out that cats can be vicious and territorial as well. This woman was walking her dog near a wooded area near the city of Belfort in eastern France when six felines set upon her, knocking her to the ground.

Josette Galliot, the mother of the victim, said, “The cats jumped on my daughter and managed to knock her over. They bit her on the leg and on her arms. They even pierced an artery.”

“My daughter thought it was a living nightmare. She’s still traumatized and is bordering on depression,” Galliot said.

The lesson is clear. Beware of wild cats because they may look like cuddly animals, but they can still be far more vicious than you can imagine. Treat feral cats with respect and they’ll likely treat you with respect, especially if you feed them once in a while.
