Everyone thinks that cats kill birds and mice, and that’s true in many cases, but not if the cat happens to be Ruggles. When Ruggles confronted a blackbird, the blackbird puffed itself up and caused Ruggles to back off.
This isn’t the first time Ruggles has confronted wildlife and lost. Back in 2009, Ruggles found a field mouse that stood up to him, causing Ruggles to back off.
Perhaps Ruggles just likes animals and isn’t really a scaredy cat after all. Then again, maybe these field mice and blackbirds know a new form of martial arts that the rest of us haven’t discovered yet, so Ruggles might not be a coward after all.
