The Philadelphia Zoo recently added new members of their animal kingdom family. The zoo is already home to black-footed cats, Ascari and Aza, who recently gave birth to three kittens on April 8. After undergoing a series of health checks to ensure that the zoo’s first ever litter of black-footed cats — a species of wild cat hailing from southern Africa and accustomed to arid climates — were healthy, the trio made their grand debut in late May.
If you happen to be in Philadelphia, visit the zoo and say hello to the black-footed cats. If they’re like ordinary house cats, they’ll likely ignore you completely so you should feel quite at home as if you were with your own cats.
